Welcome to the official website of the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka (“CPM Sri Lanka”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using this website, our Learning Management System (LMS), Membership Database and CPD System and related services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.


1. Use of Website

This website is intended to provide information about CPM Sri Lanka’s professional programmes, memberships, events, and services.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others.


2. Membership and Programme Enrollment

• Admission is subject to eligibility criteria and approval

• All information provided must be accurate and complete

• CPM Sri Lanka reserves the right to accept, reject, or revoke applications


3. Learning Management System (LMS) Usage

Users agree to:

• Maintain confidentiality of login credentials

• Use the LMS strictly for educational purposes

• Not share or distribute course materials without authorization

CPM Sri Lanka reserves the right to suspend access in case of misuse.


4. Fees, Payments, and Refund Policy

• All applicable fees must be paid in accordance with prescribed timelines

• Payments are subject to the Refund Policy published on the official CPM Sri Lanka website, which forms an integral part of these Terms

• CPM Sri Lanka reserves the right to revise fees at its discretion


5. Intellectual Property

All content, including course materials, publications, and digital resources, are the intellectual property of CPM Sri Lanka or its licensors. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.


6. Code of Conduct

All users are expected to maintain professionalism, ethical behavior, and respect for others. Misconduct may result in disciplinary action.


7. Examination and Assessment Policies

Users participating in examinations and assessments must adhere to the following:

• Academic Integrity: All submissions must be original and free from plagiarism

• Prohibited Conduct: Cheating, impersonation, collusion, or use of unauthorized materials is strictly prohibited

• Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI):

        • AI tools may only be used where explicitly permitted
        • Unauthorized use of AI-generated content in assessments will be treated as academic misconduct

• CPM Sri Lanka reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including disqualification, suspension, or revocation of results


8. Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Compliance

Members holding professional designations are required to:

• Fulfill CPD requirements as prescribed by CPM Sri Lanka

• Maintain accurate records of CPD activities

• Comply with ongoing professional and ethical standards

Failure to comply may result in suspension or revocation of membership or professional status.


9. Corporate Training and Institutional Partnerships

For corporate clients and institutional collaborations:

• Customized training programmes will be governed by separate agreements or proposals

• Confidentiality of organizational data and participant information will be maintained

• CPM Sri Lanka reserves the right to use anonymized data for quality improvement and reporting purposes


10. Events, Cancellations, and Force Majeure

• CPM Sri Lanka reserves the right to reschedule or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances

• In the event of cancellations, applicable policies outlined in the Refund Policy will apply

• CPM Sri Lanka shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or technical disruptions


11. Certification and Professional Status

• Certifications are awarded based on successful completion of programme requirements

• CPM Sri Lanka reserves the right to verify, suspend, or revoke certifications in cases of misconduct or non-compliance


12. Digital Credentials and Verification

• CPM Sri Lanka may issue digital certificates, badges, or credentials

• These credentials remain the property of CPM Sri Lanka and may be verified or revoked if found to be misused or fraudulently obtained

• Third parties may verify credentials through authorized CPM Sri Lanka channels


13. Limitation of Liability

CPM Sri Lanka shall not be liable for:

• Any direct or indirect loss arising from use of its platforms

• Technical disruptions or system unavailability

• Decisions made based on information provided


14. Third-Party Links and Services

CPM Sri Lanka is not responsible for third-party websites or services linked through its platforms.


15. Privacy

Use of services is subject to our Privacy Policy.


16. Amendments

These Terms may be updated at any time and will take effect upon publication.


17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts.
